Davorka Klanjcic – Head of Procurement
At Prostoria, we believe the best leaders grow from within. Davorka Klanjčić proves this with every step of her career – from her early days in sales to her current key role as Head of Procurement. Her journey has been marked by continuous learning, taking on responsibility, and an incredible ability to adapt.
Davorka’s professional story began back in 2007 at the company Perfecta, also led by Tomislav Knezović, the founder and owner of Prostoria. At just under 22 years old, she started as a sales assistant, but the nature of the job allowed her to learn much more very quickly. Communicating with clients, providing administrative support to the team, and tackling daily challenges became the foundation for what would later open doors to significant professional development.

When Prostoria was founded, Davorka was among its first employees. She began her career as a sales assistant, but in this environment, sales involved much more than just customer interaction. Organizing shipments, managing international logistics, preparing documentation, coordinating trade fairs – each day brought a new challenge and a new learning opportunity.
Over time, she moved into the role of Inside Sales Manager, leading a team and developing sales processes. Just over two years ago, she took on one of the company’s key roles – Head of Procurement.
„Transitioning from sales to procurement was a natural step because I already had a broad view of the business. Now, I connect all the segments – from production needs to budgeting and supplier relations. It's important for me to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and reliability, while also maintaining strong collaboration across teams.“
In her daily work, she leads procurement strategy, negotiates, analyses, and plans – all with a clear vision of making processes efficient and standards high. She even temporarily managed warehouse operations when needed, showing her willingness to step in wherever required.

Today, with over a decade of experience and numerous professional milestones behind her, Davorka remains one of Prostoria’s key people. With her dedication, organizational skills, and strong sense of teamwork, she proves every day that true leadership stems from experience, responsibility – and heart.
