At Prostoria, art and industrial precision don’t exclude one another – they collaborate. Few illustrate this better than Anđela Vilić, who, as Head of Quality Control and Complaints, balances technical excellence with aesthetic sensitivity every day.

Holding a Master’s degree in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Mostar, her professional journey is proof that an artistic education can be a key advantage even in an industrial environment. As a sculptor working in manufacturing, Anđela demonstrates daily that quality isn’t just something that can be measured – it’s a feeling, a gaze, a sense of balance.

"Prostoria shaped me professionally – it developed my self-discipline, decision-making under pressure, and a spirit of exploration."

Anđela joined Prostoria in 2012 as a sales advisor, but her sharp eye for detail, analytical mindset, and constant questioning soon led her into the core of the production process – the factory. There, she took on the newly established role of final quality inspector, from which she gradually developed an entire quality control department, which she continues to lead today. In addition, she oversees the complaints department, where she and her team handle daily service support and technical solutions for clients.

"The aesthetic awareness I developed as a sculptor allows me to quickly notice things others might miss – even in complex production scenarios."

Her move into the factory also marked a turning point in her artistic expression. Fascinated by the diversity of materials – especially those discarded as surplus – she began spontaneously creating compositions and installations from leftover parts.

"Some of them already looked like figures with strong aesthetic value. Without overthinking it, I started assembling them into compositions."

Prostoria embraced this creative expression with enthusiasm – some of Anđela’s pieces are now on display in our showrooms, and her artistic highlight came with the Prostoria 10 exhibition, where an entire space was dedicated to her installations made from production material remnants.

In addition to leading her team and navigating the complex daily challenges of quality control and complaints, Anđela is now actively involved in product development. She collaborates with the graphic and development teams, contributes to fabric selection, and helps shape the collection. Her role is multidisciplinary – both technical and visual.

Anđela’s story is a clear example of how Prostoria nurtures people who see deeper, think broader, and have the courage to connect what doesn’t seem connected at first glance.
